Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR & Business Partnership:
Develop and implement the North Asia HR roadmap aligned with global priorities and regional growth objectives. Act as a strategic counsel to the North Asia President and leadership on all people-related matters.
M&A Leadership – Due Diligence & Integration:
Lead the HR component of merger, acquisition, and joint venture activities in the region. Conduct cultural and organizational due diligence, develop integration plans, and execute seamless post-merger harmonization of people policies, systems, and cultures.
Enterprise Change Management:
Design and lead change management strategies for business transformations, such as restructuring, operating model redesign, digital transformation, and cultural evolution. Ensure clear communication, stakeholder alignment, and mitigation of change risks.
Talent & Leadership Strategy:
Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs to build a sustainable pipeline of leaders capable of leading through change and growth.
Organizational Design & Effectiveness:
Assess and redesign organizational structures to support business scalability, integration synergies, and operational efficiency in a dynamic environment.
Employee Experience & Culture Integration:
Foster an engaged, inclusive, and high-performance culture, particularly during periods of integration and change. Manage complex employee relations and ensure compliance with labor regulations across multiple North Asian jurisdictions.
HR Team Leadership:
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing regional HR team capable of supporting both routine operations and transformational projects.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HR leadership role in a multinational industrial or manufacturing company.
Proven track record in leading HR due diligence and post-M&A integration for at least 2–3 major transactions.
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing enterprise-wide change management programs (e.g., restructuring, cultural transformation, digital adoption).
Must have supported multiple countries in North Asia (China required, plus Japan/South Korea/Taiwan).

Strong strategic and analytical mindset, with ability to navigate ambiguity in fast-paced, post-merger environments.
Exceptional influencing, communication, and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
Deep knowledge of employment laws and labor relations across North Asia.
Resilient leader with experience managing complex, matrixed, and multicultural teams.
