About Our Client:
Position Summary:
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Finance Director to oversee all financial operations and drive the financial integration of newly acquired companies. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in managing complex financial processes, particularly in post-merger integration (PMI). This role is critical in ensuring financial synergy, operational efficiency, and scalable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management & Strategy:
Oversee all aspects of corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Develop and implement robust financial policies and internal controls to support the company's rapid growth.
Provide strategic financial insights and analysis to the executive team to support decision-making.
Manage cash flow, capital structure, and ensure the company's financial health.
Post-Merger Integration (PMI) - Primary Focus:
Lead the financial integration of acquired entities, including systems, processes, and teams.
Conduct thorough financial due diligence to identify risks and opportunities.
Develop and execute detailed integration plans to achieve financial synergies and operational efficiencies.
Harmonize accounting policies, reporting standards, and ERP systems across all integrated units.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (HR, IT, Operations) to ensure a seamless integration process.
Leadership & Team Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accuracy, and professionalism within the department.
Stakeholder Management:
Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other financial institutions.
Serve as a key point of contact for financial matters related to integrated companies.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or MBA is a strong plus.
Minimum of 12 years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Finance Director, Senior Finance Manager).
Essential: Proven and hands-on experience in leading the financial integration of acquired companies (Post-Merger Integration).
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications (Big Plus):
Background in a "Big 4" accounting firm.
Industry experience within professional services, advertising/marketing, or logistics/supply chain.
