General Description:
This role will proactively manage compliance programs and initiatives and provide compliance related advice, project review and provide compliance support to business units and other functions in China.
This role will also focus on leading compliance initiatives, establishing or continuously enhancing compliance governance and working with different compliance functions, cross functions and business leaders, including policies/SOPs implementation, risk assessment, compliance controls enhancement, training programs, and driving a culture of integrity within BeOne.
Essential Functions of the job:
Partner with internal stakeholders, including both business leaders and teams of business units and multiple enabling functions to proactively identify, evaluate and manage risks associated with business strategies and provide pragmatic options for risk mitigation and management, in accordance with compliance requirements, and enable sustainable business growth.
Develop, deliver, update and innovate comprehensive compliance training program with tailored approach to tackle potential risks. Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of compliance training to meet the needs of different business partners or functions and continue to drive behavior change.
Lead and maintain effective compliance communication channels with internal stakeholders by promoting compliance awareness.
Proactively identify regulatory issues, industry trends, industry codes and practices applicable to healthcare industry; and advise on the adoption of new, or revision of existing policies and procedures to ensure the continued effectiveness of Compliance Programs.
Support compliance monitoring, internal audit preparations and follow-ups, timely and proactively identifying key risks and implementing effective risk mitigation plans.
Lead and support ad hoc projects aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of compliance programs, as well as improving proactive compliance management practices.
Qualifications:
University degree required
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in international Healthcare Compliance and ABAC in the life sciences/pharma industry;
Strong understanding of industry compliance codes, including FCPA, industry code of conduct and relevant laws and regulations;
Strong understanding of industry business models;
Demonstrate flexibility, open-mindedness and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment;
Ability to demonstrate sound and independent judgment, prudence and maturity in complex and sensitive cases;
Ability to multi-task under pressure and work in a problem-solving environment;
Strong critical thinking skills, attention to detail, adaptability and professionalism.
