The Role:
We are seeking a strategic yet highly hands-on HR Director to lead our people function. This role requires a builder—someone who can roll up their sleeves to attract top talent and build a high-performance culture. Given our industry, we prefer candidates who come from FinTech, foreign internet, or software backgrounds, as they understand the speed, compliance needs, and talent landscape of our market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition
• Lead from the front: Personally manage the end-to-end recruitment process for senior technical roles (Engineers, Data Scientists, Blockchain Developers) and key business functions until the team scales.
• Sourcing Strategy: Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract passive, high-caliber talent in the competitive FinTech/tech space.
• Employer Branding: Partner with marketing to build a compelling employer brand that resonates with tech and finance professionals globally.
• Agency Management: Optimize the use of external recruitment agencies and headhunters, ensuring ROI and quality of hire.
2. Performance Management & Culture
• Build the System: Design and implement a robust performance management framework (OKRs/KPIs, bi-annual reviews, continuous feedback) tailored to a fast-paced tech environment.
• Drive High Performance: Coach managers and employees on goal setting, performance calibration, and career progression.
• Talent Development: Identify skill gaps and work with leadership to create development programs that retain and grow our talent.
• Culture Carrier: Foster a culture of transparency, innovation, and accountability, balancing the agility of a tech company with the compliance needs of a financial institution.
3. Strategic HR & Operations
• Strategic Advisor: Partner with the executive team to align HR strategy with business goals, providing data-driven insights on headcount planning, retention, and organizational design.
• Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with local labor laws and financial industry regulations (where applicable).
• HR Metrics: Track and analyze key metrics (turnover, time-to-hire, performance ratings) to inform decision-making.
• Employee Relations: Handle complex employee relations issues with discretion, ensuring a fair and compliant workplace.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 8+ years of progressive HR experience
• Industry Background: Proven experience working in a FinTech company, Foreign Internet, or a Software/Technology company.
