On June 21st, Morgan McKinley assisted the ACCA regarding the current “sharing economy” and celebrated the international release of the ACCA GBS book. Over 100 top executives and managers from many industries signed up and attended this conference.

Starting from 2000, more and more companies are looking into how to successfully establish themselves and create and run a shared service center. Meanwhile, many are helping the overall industry by providing innovative solutions and great value. ACCA worked with ZTE and GE’s global operation center and created the questionnaire survey regarding Share Service operation and management. The result of the survey was based on 400 organisations research database analysis and 50 finance director discussion events in Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen. From the senior director at Mengniu Diary to director at Air products, they led the discussion talking about if a SSC needs to provide value creation opportunity to organization in order to deal with All “New model, New Technology, New Organisational” commercial challenge. This panel of senior experts in SSCs looked into the under different development stage and possible future challenges.

GE and ZTE also looked into the impact of artificial intelligence and its influence and current development in the share service centers. The initiatives leader at GE is responsible for the global direction of enterprise operation, including not only for the financial operation but also for supply chain management, hr operations, data analysis, law...etc. GE’s global operation center is using numbers in a innovative manner and have plenty of experiences in robotic process automation, machine learning and other applications that enhances operations and user experiences.
