Key Responsibilities:
Business-Centric AI Strategy: Identify high-impact opportunities across the entire retail value chain—from hyper-personalized marketing and dynamic pricing to intelligent supply chain, inventory forecasting, and in-store experience optimization.
End-to-End Solution Ownership: Lead the full lifecycle of AI projects, from conceptualization and data strategy to model development, deployment, and continuous iteration in a live environment.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the central AI authority, collaborating closely with business units (Marketing, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Operations) to translate complex business needs into technical solutions.
Hands-On Technical Leadership: Build, mentor, and guide a high-performing team of data scientists and ML engineers, setting the bar for technical excellence and innovation.
Who We Are Looking For:
A proven track record of deploying AI/ML solutions that have driven significant, measurable business outcomes, preferably within the retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods sectors.
Deep, hands-on expertise in machine learning, predictive modeling, and personalization algorithms. Experience with computer vision for retail applications (e.g., inventory monitoring, customer analytics) is a strong plus.
A stellar background from a leading technology company, with the technical credibility to architect robust and scalable AI systems.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical executives and stakeholders, building conviction and securing buy-in.
