A global provider of intelligent device solutions company

Our Acoustics & Haptics Department is expanding its business development efforts in North America, focusing on speaker boxes, actuators, VCMs for camera modules, and motors. We are seeking a technical sales professional to strengthen relationships with Google and Microsoft while developing new business with Meta, Amazon, Dell, HP, and hardware startups.
As a Technical Sales Manager/Director – Acoustics & Haptics, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new business with Meta, Amazon, Dell, HP, and emerging Silicon Valley hardware startups.
• Acting as the technical liaison between AAC’s R&D teams in China and North American customers, ensuring that customer expectations and technical requirements are correctly understood and communicated.
• Identifying market trends in wearables (AI glasses, VR, audio glasses, game controllers), smartphones, laptops (speakers, trackpad actuators), and AI robotics to drive AAC’s market penetration.
• Managing the full sales cycle, from technical engagement to contract negotiations and project execution.
• Collaborating with AAC’s engineering teams in China to align product roadmaps with customer needs.
• Providing market intelligence and competitive analysis to refine AAC’s product strategy.

• Driving projects and programs from concept to completion, ensuring smooth execution across multiple teams and time zones.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in technical sales, business development, or field applications within consumer electronics (acoustics, haptics, actuators, VCMs, or motors).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of customer system engineering and end-product applications (smartphones, laptops, gaming devices, wearables, AI robotics).
• Proven track record of securing new business wins and growing existing accounts.
• Industry connections in the Silicon Valley hardware ecosystem, particularly with Google, Microsoft, Meta, Amazon, Dell, and HP.
• Strong cross-functional communication skills to effectively bridge R&D resources in China with North American customer expectations.
• Ability to clearly translate customer requirements into actionable tasks for internal engineering teams.
• Excellent presentation and deck-building skills to communicate product capabilities and business value to customers.
• Willingness to work across time zones to ensure seamless collaboration between global teams.
• Experience in project/program management, with the ability to drive projects from concept to completion while coordinating across teams.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (preferred, but not required).
• Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to drive customer engagement and secure new business.
• Willingness to travel (up to 25%) to meet with customers and internal teams.
