The purpose of this position is to assist in the development of the strategy for, and to actively manage and develop the PSR sales (REP & OE) within China. This includes assisting in the planning of sales initiatives, and directly leading and managing the implementation of sales strategies and initiatives in order to meet the company targets regarding growth and profitability.
In order to meet the business needs, the position is required to lead, manage and actively develop our team Chinese Sales Representatives across China. The director will work with both local and central region resources in Marketing, Product Management, Supply Chain Management, Production and Quality Management to achieve the profitable sales growth.
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Graduated with a University degree, preferably with an Engineering or Technical background.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience of Sales or Marketing and at least 8 years of leadership experience in managing commercial P&L in a multi-national company.
• Proven and successful track record of developing and implementing sales strategies in China.
• Excellent track record of customer focused service delivery, B2B and B2C.
• Previous experience of process development/continuous improvements and change management.
• Strong business acumen/ability to develop business cases for growth.
• Highly developed project management skills (i.e. initiating, execute and follow-up projects).
• Demonstrates speed in execution
• A collaborative team player with all cross functional teams & external stakeholders and have ability to inspire others
• Excellent stakeholder management & engagement experience, demonstrates ability to interact with all across all levels
• Excellent negotiation skills, manages vendors effectively and good project management skills
• Demonstrates ability to influence and build consensus among members of the company
• High level of integrity, persistent and structure and results-driven
• Strong focus on relevance, quality & accuracy (including good helicopter view & business orientation skills)
• Ability to manage the professional development of department team members
• Good problem solving skills and able to provide analysis to understand root causes
• Language proficiency: English, Mandarin and other language(s) are added advantage
