We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Finance Shared Services to lead our regional/global shared service center. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence across core transactional finance processes—including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and Tax Compliance—while spearheading Finance Transformation and Digitalization initiatives. The ideal candidate will balance robust process governance with a passion for leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, control, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Leadership & Governance
End-to-End Process Ownership: Lead and manage the full cycle of AP, AR, GL, and Tax operations, ensuring high-volume transactions are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with Group policies and local statutory requirements.
Service Level Management: Define, monitor, and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Drive continuous improvement to optimize productivity and quality.
Compliance & Control: Ensure strict adherence to SOX controls, internal audit standards, and tax regulations (VAT, CIT, Withholding Tax). Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits related to shared services.
2. Finance Transformation & Digitalization
Strategic Roadmap: Develop and execute a multi-year Finance Transformation roadmap focused on automation, standardization, and process simplification.
Digital Enablement: Champion the adoption of digital tools, including OCR/ML for invoice processing, RPA (Robotic Process Automation) for repetitive tasks, and advanced analytics for reporting.
ERP Optimization: Collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders on ERP system enhancements (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and lead the FSSC workstream during system upgrades or implementations.
Data & Insights: Transition the team from a purely transactional focus to providing data-driven insights by improving data integrity and visualization capabilities.
3. Team Leadership & Talent Development
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of managers and staff across different functions (AP/AR/GL/Tax).
Culture Building: Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity within the shared service environment.
Capacity Planning: Manage resource allocation effectively to handle peak periods and support business growth.

Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are highly preferred.
Experience:
12+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a Finance Shared Service Center or BPO environment.
Proven track record in managing AP, AR, GL, and Tax operations in a complex corporate setting.
Demonstrable experience leading Finance Transformation projects, specifically involving digitalization and automation.
