We are seeking a high-impact Head of Commercial Finance to lead our omni-channel commercial finance agenda across both Online (E-commerce, DTC, Social Commerce) and Offline (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale) channels. This role is critical to driving financial discipline while supporting aggressive growth targets. You will not only manage the P&L but also act as the strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and E-commerce leadership.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned FMCG veteran with deep experience navigating complex retail ecosystems, a proven track record of managing large-scale P&L, and a strong appetite to drive digital and organizational transformation.
Key Responsibilities
Omni-Channel P&L Ownership: Lead financial planning, analysis, and reporting for all commercial channels. Ensure robust profitability management across diverse models—from high-volume offline GT/MT to fast-growing online platforms (Tmall, JD, Douyin, etc.).
Strategic Business Partnering: Serve as a trusted advisor to Channel Directors. Challenge and support investment decisions on trade spend (TPR/TPN), pricing strategies, and new market entries.
Drive Transformation: Lead finance transformation initiatives, including the digitalization of FP&A processes, automation of reporting dashboards (Power BI/Tableau), and optimization of trade terms management.
Commercial Excellence: Develop advanced profitability analytics (SKU/channel/customer level). Identify margin leakage points and drive cost-efficiency programs without compromising growth.
Forecasting & Budgeting: Manage the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts. Ensure high accuracy in demand planning and inventory management to minimize obsolescence.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of Commercial Finance Managers/BPs. Foster a culture of analytical rigor, business acumen, and proactive partnership.
Requirements
FMCG DNA: Minimum 12-15 years of progressive finance experience within leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) companies
Diverse Commercial Exposure: Must have held multiple Commercial Finance roles covering different channels (e.g., Field Force Finance, MT Finance, E-commerce Finance, or Category Finance).
Scale & Complexity: Proven experience managing a large-scale business. Experience handling complex distributor networks and high-volume e-commerce operations is essential.
Transformation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to drive change and transformation. Experience implementing new systems (ERP, TM1, SAP SAC) or redesigning commercial finance processes is highly valued.
Language & Communication: Native or near-native English fluency is mandatory. You must be comfortable presenting to global stakeholders and leading discussions in English.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel
