1. Category Strategy & Market Intelligence
Develop and execute a 3-year global category roadmap, including supplier panel design, demand consolidation across plants, and regional sourcing strategies. Continuously monitor market trends, cost drivers, and competitive dynamics to inform negotiation and localization decisions.
2. Cost & Productivity Delivery
Own annual productivity targets, delivering savings through negotiation, re-sourcing, volume consolidation, design-to-value, specification simplification, and logistics redesign. Build should-cost/clean-sheet models and partner with Finance to validate P&L impact.
3. Supplier Management & Contracting
Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFI/RFQ, TCO evaluation, award recommendations). Negotiate and manage frame agreements, LTAs, pricing, capacity, and IP/warranty terms. Drive Supplier Relationship Management and develop strategic suppliers.
4. Supply Assurance, Risk & Quality
Guarantee continuity of supply through capacity reservations, dual-sourcing, safety-stock strategies, and risk mitigation (single-source, geopolitical, financial). Partner with Supplier Quality on PPAP/FAI, process audits, and field-issue resolution; own supplier performance metrics.
5. NPI, Design-to-Value & Stakeholder Leadership
Represent Procurement in NPI projects from design phase, driving early supplier involvement, cost-target achievement, and part standardization across platforms. Lead cross-functional teams and coach regional buyers, while ensuring compliance with regulations and sustainability goals.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related field. MBA/Master’s preferred.
2. Over 8 years in procurement, with 5+ years in global category management for cooling/HVAC systems, industrial manufacturing, or data center equipment.
3. Proven expertise in cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and global supplier negotiations.
4. Familiarity with NPI/design-to-value processes and cross-regional sourcing (Asia, Europe, Americas).
5. Experience with electro-mechanical components (compressors, fans, coils, pumps, controllers) is a strong plus.
