Commodity Analsyt

Responsibilities:

• Analysing upcoming and current events as they relate to the commodities markets with specific focus on metals and agricultural commodities
• Providing real-time opinions on breaking news and identifying trading opportunities
• Collaborating with traders and equity researchers on investment ideas in a cross-asset space
• Performing market structure analysis on certain products and building models to assess the impact of macro events on commodity prices

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree
• Minimum 3 years’ experience
• Strong written, analytical, and financial research skills
• Prior exposure to commodity research essential, with specific focus on metals and agricultural commodities
• Trading and event driven analysis an advantage
• Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Familiarity with a trading environment and derivative products preferred
• A self-starter, quick learner, effective communicator, and problem solver
• Willingness to work additional and flexible hours when necessary
