Job Overview:

Reporting to the CEO, the Finance Director will be responsible for all financial matters, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, analysis, and control of the financial operations of the business. The Finance Director will also provide leadership to the finance team and ensure compliance with accounting, legal, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, as well as long-term financial plans, and provide recommendations to senior management on how to optimize the company's financial performance.

* Manage the financial operations of the business, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit and collections, tax, payroll, and other accounting functions.

* Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, and provide analysis and interpretation to the executive team.

* Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures, including internal controls and risk management.

* Manage the annual audit process with external auditors, and oversee compliance with accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

* Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems, optimizing efficiency and accuracy.

* Provide leadership to the finance team, ensuring a high level of productivity, employee engagement, and development.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.

* At least 10 years of experience in finance, preferably in the FMCG industry.

* Strong financial planning and analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

* Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.

* Strong knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.

* Ability to develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.

* Experience managing financial systems implementation and process improvement projects.

* Experience working with external audits.

* Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
