Job Description

一家深耕汽车热管理技术的企业,通过汽车电子、内饰温控系统、电池热管理系统、三大产品线的技术升级,推动汽车业务板块的创新发展

Product Strategy:
• Leads the process to formulate, document and communicate the product strategy and roadmap for PCS for Asia customers that fits into the global product strategy and roadmap
• Works with GBU, CBU, Strategy, Product Marketing and other related functional leaders to translate the product strategy into a business plan
• Conducts strategic reviews to monitor and ensure execution of the strategy
• Defines milestones and metrics to measure the effectiveness of strategic initiatives
• Reports on strategy implementation to management team

Business Development:
• Work with Commercial team and marketing to promote new technology and products to customers.
• Monitors the business environment to identify market and product trends and translate those into opportunities addressable for the organization
• Engages with the customer to deeply understand their roadmap and needs, translate to the value proposition validity and to drive the business development in both auto and nonauto market.
• Prioritizes opportunities and establishes and leads cross-functional teams in addressing the selected opportunities
• Work with cross functions to secure critical pneumatic comfort product business win

Financial Performance:
• Analyses and monitors financial & commercial performance (Revenue & Gross Margin) in conjunction with Finance Controlling and CBU team and uses relevant information to prepare strategic decisions
• Works with Excellence team to drive VA/VE activity to achieve targeted gross margin levels of the product portfolio.
• Defines market pricing, cost and selling price targets; defines and drives initiatives to reach targets
• Identifies and addresses hurdles and barriers to achieving the business plan
• Collaborate with sourcing and engineering team for critical components sourcing strategy to ensure cost competitiveness.

Market & Competition Analysis:
• Helps to collect and communicate market and competitor information as a basis for strategic decision making; triggers and supports necessary Market Research
• Triggers relevant product benchmarking and consolidates and communicates respective results together with Sales helps to collect, consolidate critical customer information
• Distill Voice of Customer into Voice of Market and drive into future product roadmap
• Monitors IP situation with the support of the Intellectual Property team

Product & Process Innovation:
• Translates customer needs, mega trends & enabling technologies into product performance objectives and respective directions for the innovation process
• Defines, documents and manages product portfolio roadmap
• Defines and presents value proposition and Go-to-Market for innovation and product enhancement projects
• Defines technical and commercial product targets related to innovation projects including product enhancements
• Closely collaborates with Advanced Engineering and Applications Engineering during innovations projects

Other:
• Formulates and presents business cases for investments in R&D, Manufacturing, M&A, Make or Buy, etc. Provides internal product related training
• Additional assignments based on mutual agreement with Manager

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Product Management or Product Marketing/ Planning experience in Automotive preferred with special consideration for experience in Automotive climate and comfort solutions
• Visionary, inspirational, high energy leader, driven with a bias to action.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Able to successfully work across different cultures
• Ability to lead and to motivate cross-functional teams, manage and influence teams in an inclusive way
• Strong business acumen, analytical capabilities, risk management knowledge, and affinity to financial numbers.
