I oversee operations in Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan
I joined Morgan McKinley in 1998. Prior to this I built up extensive recruitment experience in both financial services and commercial sectors.
After nine years in our London team I moved to Asia in 2007, initially to run the Hong Kong office, before progressing to take additional responsibilities as the Director for North Asia. The number of staff in the North Asia team has doubled and it has become one of the major revenue generating regions in the Morgan McKinley Group.
In February 2011, I set up our first mainland China office in Shanghai and later that year I was promoted to COO for the Asia-Pacific region with responsibility of overseeing operations in Australia, Singapore, China, Hong Kong and Japan.
I hold a Management Science (Honours) Bachelors degree from Manchester University. I then studied at the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst before taking up a Commission to join the British Army as an officer in the Royal Artillery. I served in numerous locations globally, including Germany and Canada, as well as leading a troop of soldiers on a successful operational tour of Bosnia in 1997.
