Key Responsibilities:
Distributor Budget Analysis:
Develop, analyze, and manage annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the distributor channel.
Monitor budget execution, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to align financial performance with strategic goals.
Expense Management:
Oversee and analyze distributor-related expenses, including trade spending, rebates, incentives, and operational costs.
Implement cost control measures and recommend efficiency improvements.
ROI Analysis of Campaigns & Activities:
Evaluate the effectiveness and profitability of marketing campaigns, promotions, and trade activities through detailed ROI analysis.
Provide post-campaign analysis and recommendations to optimize future investments and drive higher returns.
Business Partnering:
Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align financial plans with business strategies.
Support commercial teams with data-driven insights for negotiations and business reviews with distributors.
Reporting & Insights:
Prepare and present regular management reports detailing distributor channel performance, financial trends, risks, and opportunities.
Enhance reporting tools and dashboards for better visualization and understanding of commercial performance.
Job Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial finance, sales finance, or a related analytical role, preferably within industries with extensive distributor networks (e.g., FMCG, retail, manufacturing).
Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, expense analysis, and ROI evaluation for commercial activities.
Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence commercial decisions through data-driven insights.
Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
