Position Summary
Act as the key strategic HR partner to one or more business divisions, translating corporate strategy into practical people plans that drive growth, agility and employee experience across Greater China.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnership
• Partner with senior leaders to align people strategy with annual and long-term business goals.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations on talent, organization and culture.
Organization & Change
• Design and refresh organizational structures, roles and reporting lines to match evolving business priorities.
• Lead or advise on change initiatives (restructures, M&A, system rollouts) ensuring smooth adoption.
Talent & Leadership
• Own end-to-end talent management: succession planning, high-potential development, leadership coaching and capability building.
• Facilitate talent reviews and development actions for critical roles.
Performance & Rewards
• Drive annual performance, salary review and incentive processes that reinforce a pay-for-performance culture.
• Benchmark compensation and benefits against relevant markets.
Employee Relations & Compliance
• Ensure all policies and practices comply with Chinese labor law and global standards.
• Manage complex employee-relations matters in partnership with legal and compliance teams.
Culture & Engagement
• Champion diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives; design programs that strengthen culture and elevate engagement.
• Curate enterprise culture events and communications.
HR Analytics & Digital
• Leverage HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors) and dashboards to monitor key metrics and automate routine tasks.
• Translate analytics into actionable HR interventions.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s or MBA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years in an HRBP Manager/Senior Manager role within a multinational environment.
• Solid knowledge of China employment law and HR best practices.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin; excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Certifications such as SHRM-SCP, GPHR, Hogan or ICF coaching are a plus.
