About the Role
This is a highly visible, high-impact role within the China MedTech team. As the Senior Manager of Strategy, you will serve as a critical bridge between the global franchise, central marketing, and commercial execution. You will lead strategic planning, market intelligence, and new business development (NBD) initiatives for the surgical business unit, with a specific focus on driving market share growth and shaping the future portfolio in the dynamic China healthcare landscape.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Execution
- Identify key growth drivers, white-space opportunities
2. Market Intelligence & Insights
- Drive deep-dive analytics on market dynamics, including competitor landscaping, policy shifts
3. New Business Development (NBD) & External Partnerships
- Evaluate and execute inorganic growth opportunities, including licensing, partnerships, and M&A targets that complement the current portfolio.
4. Commercial Excellence & Portfolio Optimization
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required;
- 8-12 years of progressive experience in strategy consulting (top-tier firm preferred) and corporate strategy, or business development within the MedTech, Pharma, or broader healthcare industry
