Our client is a MNC Consumer Company.

1. Financial Planning and Analysis: 

  • Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for the APAC business unit, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and financial guidelines. 
  • Conduct extensive financial analysis, including revenue, cost, and margin analysis, to identify trends and recommend actions for performance improvement. 
  • Develop and maintain financial models and business cases to support decision-making on strategic initiatives, investments, and growth opportunities. 

2. Reporting and Performance Management: 

  • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports and presentations for the APAC Finance Director, executive management, and other stakeholders, in compliance with corporate financial reporting requirements. 
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the business unit's performance against strategic objectives and targets. 
  • Support the APAC Finance Director in performance management activities, such as setting targets, monitoring progress, and providing guidance on performance improvement. 

3. Business Partnering and Collaboration: 

  • Act as a strategic financial partner to business leaders across the APAC region, providing financial insights and guidance to support decision-making and drive business performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and supply chain, to identify growth opportunities and optimize resource allocation. 
  • Assist in evaluating the financial impact of new business initiatives, market entries, and other strategic projects, providing financial analysis and recommendations as needed.

 4. Process Improvement and Cost Savings: 

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and operational efficiency enhancements within the APAC business unit.
  • Lead the implementation of cost-saving initiatives and monitor their effectiveness, ensuring the realization of targeted benefits.

 5. Compliance and Risk Management: 

  • Ensure compliance with local financial laws, regulations, accounting standards, and corporate policies across the APAC region. 
  • Assist in identifying and mitigating financial risks and ensuring proper internal controls are in place in accordance with corporate guidelines and local regulatory requirements.
