The mission of the internal control manager is to assess and manage its risks (strategical, operational and financial) by giving an independent and internal opinion on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and proposing recommendations for improvement.

The role of Internal Control Manager is to:
- Provide internal control expertise
- Animate the internal control topic
- Perform audits in line with corporate standards.

Internal control (70%)
- Drive and support business owners to assess their process as part of the internal control self-assessment Campaign
- Be an operation-minded business partner to enhance, troubleshoot, improve, and create where necessary new procedures
- Evaluate the implementation of internal control procedures, by testing the design and efficiency of the controls
- Ongoing follow up of action plans defined and make sure actions are on track
- Active participation in new projects and aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency, reliability and working comfort of the company's business processes
- Identifies and shares relevant information, best practices, and documentation with Internal Control community
- Feed back regularly to management on current situation and progress made


Audit (30%)
- Set up a yearly road map aiming at auditing the main company risk within a given period
- Perform regular stores audits
- Perform HQ audit, depending on risks identified on the yearly roadmap: payroll, bidding, payment…
For both, set up relevant action plans to address identified weaknesses and follow up plans
