Famous Luxury Brand
Basic Function:
Responsible for MLCN inventory end to end process including daily operation, month end closing, L&O provision calculation, inventory movement analysis and the inquiries from APAC region and global.
Scope Supervision:
This position reports to Inventory manager of accounting and reporting team
Responsibilities / What you can bring to the team:
A.Daily operation
- Review and approve office request.
- Review the request from supply chain team like destruction and give a summary.
- Import duty reconciliation and adjustment.
B.Month end closing
- Prepare the month end inventory closing schedule and align with region.
- Perform inventory closing per the timeline and ensure all inventory reporting are on time deliver.
- Prepare inventory reconciliation and follow up with un-reconciled items.
- Prepare CN inventory dashboard and inventory closing commentary.
- Track inventory issue log
- Perform manual adjustment in system.
C.Reporting and analysis
- Perform L&O calculation and ensure the modeling complied with group policy.
- Work closely with business finance team to analyze the inventory movement and give insights.
- GIT report tracking and follow up after analysis.
- Cooperate with region BF or local BF for MOC analysis.
- Assist in year end and interim audit.
D.Inventory Management
- Support inventory mid/year-end stock taking.
- Give insights of inventory management
- Drive data automation
- Willing to challenge status quo and initial operation simplification.
E.Other project support as required:
Requirements:
- University of college degree majoring in accounting or related business topics.
- Financial or management accounting professional qualification are preferred.
- Accounting or audit firm working experience are preferred.
- Comfortable aggregating and manipulating large data sets from multiple systems to derive insightful analysis and create financial models.
- ERP knowledge and strong excel skill required.
- At least 5 years' experience in accounting management in international companies and cross culture environment, preferable from a trading, distribution company, or chain retailers.
- Well self-motivated, analytical, be skilled in teamwork & communication, and good performance under pressure.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
