Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and credit risk assessment for corporate borrowers, including financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, and ratio analysis.
- Prepare credit application reports and renewal papers with clear risk ratings and recommendations on facility structures, covenants, and collateral requirements.
- Monitor ongoing credit exposures, including early warning signals, covenant compliance, and industry/peer performance.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and risk teams to structure appropriate credit facilities and mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all credit assessments comply with internal credit policies, PBOC/NFRA guidelines, and the bank’s risk appetite framework.
Specialist Knowledge & Requirements:
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on credit analysis experience in a commercial bank, preferably in corporate or wholesale banking.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/PRC GAAP), financial modeling, and credit risk metrics (e.g., LTV, DSCR, PD/LGD).
- Familiarity with PBOC, NFRA, and SAFE credit-related regulations and local reporting standards.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with core banking or credit risk systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
