Contribute to China strategic planning process with market analysis and input

I. Position Overview (Base Guangzhou):

As Strategic Marketing Director of Canton Biologics business in China, you will help drive creating and execution of marketing plans for all Canton Biologics capabilities and products in this market. The key focus is to drive Canton Biologics' technologies/products, CGT, Animal Health and all other services and solutions, adapting and trans-creating marketing campaigns to local needs. You will work with the Sales team to provide guidance on customer segmentation, value propositions and customer targeting, driving lead generation, PR, advertising, digital marketing and events.

Ⅱ.Primary Accountabilities 岗位职责

A. Contribute to China strategic planning process with market analysis and input.

B. Developing product/technology and marketing plans in conjunction with China Leadership Team and global marketing team

C. Identify, quantify, prioritize and drive key marketing initiatives to achieve the profit,market share, and revenue targets.

D. Adapt and trans-create product/service marketing campaigns to fit business needs.

E. Work withsales directors to identify customer needs and work with R&D to develop and validate concepts for new products or services.

F. Work with the Sales team to provide guidance on customer segmentation, value propositions and customer targeting

G. Drive local marketing initiatives including lead generation, PR, advertising, digital marketing and events in conjunction with BUs. Manage appropriate local agencies.

H.Drive marketing strategy execution and harmonization with Business Development /R&D Team to ensure the best experience for customers.

I. For each key product and service, ensure that we understand end user needs and develop the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer(s) for the products within the portfolio.

J.Monitor competitive market.

K.Provide marketing support team with content for product collateral, web, and any relevant marketing materials.

L.Measure effectiveness of plans against objectives for customer awareness, trial, project wins, and repeat business objectives and estimate market share progress.

Ⅲ. Position Requirements:

A.Undergraduate degree in business/marketing or pharmaceutical science,

chemistry, biology, engineering or a related field. MBA in preferred.

B.5 to 8 years of marketing experience required in biologics

and new drug development or consumer health (OTC and VMS) products industry.

Experience in sales/business development of Rx or consumer health

products or nutritional health products in B2B environment also relevant. Prior

work experience in mainland China is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

-Strong tactical marketing, lead generation, content/event marketing, B2B marketing or pharmaceutical marketing skills.

-Brand development skills.
