The Global Supplier Quality Leader will be responsible to lead the Supplier Quality Initiatives for their assigned business(es) and commodity focus. In this capacity they will:
Drive Complaints Process globally for their assigned business(es)
Lead investigation and Root Cause and Corrective Action [RCCA] for escalated Product Quality and Service Quality complaints from the sites and Supplier Quality Incidents classified as "high" Own the action plan for change & follow through to check that solutions have been implemented;
Evaluate trends and patterns in their assigned business(es) and commodity focus and create global action plans to drive improvements quarterly.
Help to improve the overall transactional elements with suppliers in conjunction with site schedulers and Logistics teams in evaluating and improving Inbound Delivery data integrity, ensuring proper paperwork receipt and ensuring sites issue Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCAR) for repeat offenders.
Ensure inputs into the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) data (complaints, lead-times vs. delivery times, etc.) are consistent throughout the business(es) and aligned with global policy as set by the Quality Center of Excellence (CoE).
Support the Source-MOC (Management of Change) approval process: work with Quality CoE and Procurement organization to enforce & continuously improve the process; evaluate and approve appropriate Source-MOC's issued by the Procurement organization.
Lead / perform Supplier Audits on a regular cadence as identified by the prescribed selection methods; assist in identifying and prioritizing Supplier Audits.
Build relationships with key suppliers to ensure Momentive's quality needs are met; work directly with Supplier locations to assist with problem resolution and opportunities for optimization.
Support Quality CoE and Site Quality to ensure consistency in Raw Material and Packaging Material specifications; review discrepancies between Momentive and Supplier specifications at individual sites.
Assist Quality CoE in supporting and improving Supplier Quality Initiative processes.
The Global Supplier Quality Leader is accountable for the outputs, data and tracking of Supplier Quality Initiatives across assigned business(es) and commodity focus including and not limited to:
Complaint data in SAP for the assigned business(es) and proper and timely closure of Supplier Notifications, SCAR's and claims; maintaining proper information in SAP.
Accountable for training key personnel on the Supplier Complaints Process, including capturing & entering instances of Supplier Non-conformance, driving investigations, tracking and ensuring closure on complaints and SCAR escalation process
Collect and Manage Supplier Evaluation Data for the assigned business(es) , including Inbound Delivery evaluation, complaints and claims data.
Work with Procurement to enforce 'Supplier Quality Agreements' with quality-related requirements.
Work with regional Tolling Managers to ensure Momentive quality requirements are met
Support the organization during Customer and 3rd party Quality and ISO Audits in the area of External Provider Management
