Job Summary: As the China IT Director for a leading luxury brand in China, you will be responsible for overseeing the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), infrastructure, application systems, and Point of Sale (POS) systems. You will play a pivotal role in aligning IT strategies with business objectives and driving innovation to support the company's growth, particularly in the emerging E-commerce and digital sectors. Key Responsibilities: Strategic IT Leadership: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company's business goals and growth in the luxury retail sector. ERP Management: Oversee the company's ERP system to ensure efficient management of core business processes, including finance, supply chain, and human resources. Infrastructure Development: Design and maintain a robust IT infrastructure that supports the company's operations and meets the demands of a luxury brand. Application Systems: Manage the development, implementation, and maintenance of business application systems that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. POS System Management: Direct the deployment and support of POS systems across all retail outlets to streamline sales transactions and improve data capture. E-commerce Expansion: Plan and execute the IT strategy for the company's E-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless online shopping experience that reflects the brand's luxury positioning. Digital Transformation: Drive digital initiatives that innovate the customer journey and support the company's digital presence in the luxury market. Cybersecurity: Ensure the protection of company data and systems through robust cybersecurity measures and compliance with local and international regulations. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and store managers.
Job Requirements
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven track record of at least 10 years in IT leadership roles, with a focus on retail and luxury sectors. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, IT infrastructure, application development, and E-commerce platforms. Leadership: Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate technical and non-technical teams. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business needs into effective IT solutions. Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of the organization and external partners. Language: Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred.
