Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
- Define pricing strategy and lead the design of price/investment guideline, co-work with channel acceleration team for implementation so as to drive business growth and achieve profitability target
- Reinforce pricing management process with digitalization and automation tools to facilitate manipulations of price data of hundreds of SKUs/channel combinations as well as support commercial decision
- Enhance granularity for pricing setting practice linking to our portfolio strategy and channel prioritization
- Work closely with BU sales, finance, marketing team to provide analytical support and recommendation for price adjustment incl. annual list price increase, promotion or trade terms depth change
- Strengthen our cross-functional governance & R&R to make of pricing as a strategic and operational priority beyond the pricing team
- Leverage market insights and competitive benchmark in order to implement price strategy for company's revenue maximization
- Lead competitive intelligence and market research projects based on regional needs and priorities
- Standardize and optimize routine reports i.e. EC offtake/pricing so as to address stakeholder's needs
- Drive process of ongoing GMA monitoring & buy-back program through regular communications in coordination with global and legal team
- Manage and maximize usage of team budget for centre-of-excellence function enhancement (pricing & intelligence) through 3rd party data agency sourcing and industry expert interview
Key qualifications for candidates:
- Minimum of 7+ years working experience with financial analysis activities, business development or previous experience in pricing management is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of B2B pricing best practices
- Advanced analytical experience including dataset design & statistical analysis, with ability to bring data to life using digital tool
- Strong interpersonal skills to influence and lead cross-functional team
- Growth mindset, passionate about managing sophisticated assignments, developing cross-function network for achieving common goals
- Strong business understanding and commercial insights
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin
