- Expert and contact person for the markets/market segments assigned to him and the as-sociated target customers

- Deep understanding of the technical and commercial requirements of the target customers

- Carries out continuous market observation of important influencing factors and needs or trend analysis and proactively recommends corrective measures to management

- Knows the most important competitors and competitive technologies and ensures that this market information remains current and relevant

- Develops sustainable business concepts in close cooperation with suitable contact persons at customers, partners, and suppliers to adequately support the economic goals of the business unit, the region

- Uses internal and external sources of information to develop customized product and service portfolios

- Works together with the internal functions Sales Management / Key Account Management, Product Management, Application and Product and Technology Development, as well as the MarCom Team on projects

- Within the projects, the Supervisor Market Segment Management assumes the role of the Project Owner for his projects. This role includes responsibility for the time and cost of implementing the business concept to be realized (product development and launch) the preparation and coordination of a clear project briefing

- Creates effective go-to-market strategies and marketing concepts for the market launch in cooperation with Sales (Sales Management / Key Account Management), Business Development Management, Product Management, Market Segment Management of other regions and the MarCom team

- Leads international and cross-functional project teams and is responsible for tracking and maintaining the strategic goals for the assigned market segment

- Responsible for the development, implementation and monitoring of market/product price strategies following the corporate strategy in regard to penetration of specific markets

- Responsible for the content creation of digital content for the market segment for which she/he is responsible and provides the corresponding digital content.

- At important events, he represents his specialist expertise. For digital channels, he prepares relevant technical articles "White Papers" to expand the external network and generate relevant customer contacts for sales.

- Leading Marketing Specialists of his segment, share experience and coach working skill, (customer communication, report and speech skill, data consolidate and analysis)
