Purpose of your role

This important role is responsible for business analysis, solution design or package selection functionally, as solution lead, this role shall understand well the marketing & distribution business in China.

This role shall be familiar with CRM, sCRM, wealth management tool, new customer acquisition Mini-Program, online trading & service solutions and website/app analytics solutions.

This role shall also be familiar with marketing data analysis in order to support reporting requirements and website/app customer behavior analytics requirements.

The candidate will belong to Technology team in China and work with marking & distribution team and global digital & client technology team closely to support the requirement analysis of new vendor systems or in house development functions that will be used to support the China mutual fund business.

This entails the support understanding the China business needs, gathering user requirements, resolving functional issues and ensuring the systems that meets the China needs and in-line with our global standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying and documenting Business Requirements
• Understand existing systems functions and liaison with Business teams.
• Lead or contribute to high level requirements gathering workshops with users and IT.
• Document high level business requirements and create detailed business specifications.
• Provide reasonable and accurate analysis estimates to Project Manager and assist in project planning.
• Escalate change requests /new requirements/issues to Project Manager in timely fashion.
• Follow standard process and tools based on the AGILE development methodology.
• Work with internal teams in China and offices in other parts of the world to coordinate and resolve a wide range of technology issues related to different projects.
• Information sharing and expertise support to application support, data governance or other teams.
• Market watch of regulation change, connection with external parties such as exchange, clearing house or providers
• Understand local and global solutions and best practice, drive continuous solution enhancement.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• 5+ years of professional experience in asset management, consulting, financial services and other related industries in China
• Financial system experience in China, ideally Direct Sales, Client Service, CRM, sCRM, Mobile Apps, WeChat Official Account, etc.
• Experience in business process improvement and business analysis, especially e-commerce, livestream, online investor support and other popular area in marketing, sales and client service.
• Understanding of the technology development lifecycle
• Strong analytical skills and business development mind-set
• Strong influencing skills
• Able to structure complex problems in a logical and explainable manner
• Strong can-do attitude with exceptional commitment to quality of work
• Dynamic individual who is a self-starter yet a strong team player
• Strong communication skills，excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin is a key requirement
• Resourceful and independent, able to use their initiative and taking full responsibilities for completion of duties
• Flexible & excellent time management
• A willingness to demonstrate teamwork and be able to work under pressure and tight deadlines
• Technical background, fundamental skill set of Linux, Oracle programming.
• Experience of local asset management solutions covering frontend and backend systems
• Fluent English in both speaking and written
• Working experience in e-commerce or IT department of mutual fund or other asset management companies, or as solution provider
