Job Description
My client is a reputable US company. They are seeking for their 1st china counsel to handle all kinds of legal issues.
Experience / Qualifications
· A law degree from a reputable university in China
· China bar qualification will be a significant advantage
· Significant experience in providing legal advice on commercial contracts and a solid grasp of contracts law. At least 5 years of post-qualification experience in a role focused on commercial contracts, obtained either in-house or in private practice
· Regional experience in Asia Pacific will be a plus though not required
· Strong drafting skills and ability to lead negotiations confidently
· Experience in privacy and personal data matters would be viewed favorably
· Strong team player with good communication skills, translating into ability to work with various internal and external stakeholders
· Independent worker able to work autonomously with limited supervision
· An analytical mind able to "see" the legal complexities of SEC's business
· Strong organizational skills
