KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Assist the long-term financial planning and support in preparing the strategic business plan as part of the annual budgeting process
* Ensure optimal resource allocation in line with the development strategy of the Functions, highlighting potential risks and opportunities to management, e.g. during investment requests
Financial Planning, Performance Reporting and Analysis
* Coordinate with function teams to construct and align yearly budget
* Review the Actuals with functions' management on regular basis; Deep understanding of the business & activities to incorporate the current trend in the Rolling Forecast.
* Challenge business counterparts on the year-to-go allocated resources
* Prepare the deliverables according to guidelines from Region and Group Finance
* Work closely with the RRF corporate finance team to ensure the timely and accurate submission of function results
* Development of management reporting needs & tools for Functional management
E-Commerce performance analysis & Digital investment optimization
* Transversal analysis of E-Commerce performance to identify chances of efficiency
* Participate in the development and implementation of financial assessment models in collaboration with operation teams to optimize corporate digital & IT investment
* Prepare simulations with various scenarios to support decision making
* Continuous improvements of the investment models & validation process
Other responsibilities
* Assist in identifying and supporting the improvement of finance processes
* Actively support the implementation of and Compliance with all relevant Company Policies and Procedures and IAS Standards; Support and build the internal control culture and environment in the Functions
* Participate in various cross-functional projects
* Participate in the financial assessment of any other ad-hoc projects or strategic initiatives
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Education / Qualifications
* University Degree graduate or above, preferably with a major in Business / Accounting / Finance
Experience
* At least 6 to 8 years of experience at large multinational companies with multiple stakeholders in a matrix organization, including at least 3 to 5 years of relevant FP&A experience
* Experience in the development and production of financial reports and analysis
* Experience in data analytical, planning & modeling tools
* The candidate would ideally have experience in large-scale physical retailing and e-Commerce in China.
