Responsibility:
Direct and manage R&D resource to complete projects on-time, on-cost, and
on-quality.
Achieve profit plan goals for CPC R&D team.
Works collaboratively with other CPC functions and global Design Center team to
drive all Project design, including NPD, VAVE, localization as well.
Manage the projects owned by Industrial Control Division US.
Communicate and coordinate team activities with other global design centers
within the ICD organization.
Manage direct reports, conduct performance reviews, administer merit plan, and
discuss goals and development plans with direct reports.
Organize and build talent base within the R&D team, create opportunities for
growth and development of engineering team through effective development
plans.
Promote continuous learning in the engineering organization.
The Person
BSEE or BSME, MBA or MSME/MSEE is preferred
Rich experience in R&D management in low-voltage field
Over 10 years' experience in product design and minimum 5 years on
management role;
Project management experience.
Solid electrical hardware design knowledge.
Ability to interact successfully with other disciplines to seek out solutions to
problems.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
