Leading foreign banking is looking for a Data Governance AVP/VP

Job Description

Assist the management and optimization of data governance and data quality management framework in the bank and support China Data Governance team to cultivate a data-driven culture.

Direct Responsibilities

• Apply the global / regional practice to develop and meet local / regulatory data quality needs.
• Collaborate with the Regional CDO office to perform the data quality work per group requirement
• Responsible for the daily data quality issues' collection and investigation and monitor their remediation status
• Facilitate data analysis/data mapping program and the deployment of data quality requirement in related departments based on the analysis
• Develop and update the data quality management related procedures on timely manner
• Generate dashboard for data quality daily monitor and supervision
• Support with data quality evaluation measurement
• Promote data awareness and data quality knowledge sharing in the bank

Contributing Responsibilities

• Take part in the data quality inspection (together with relevant Departments) and monitor the remediation progress
• Provide assistance in other data quality IT projects

Job Requirement

• At least 7 years working experience;
• It is preferred to have the data quality relevant working experience in other banks;
• Familiar with banks' system and data as well as data governance regulation and requirements;
• Strong independent working ability;
• Good (Non-IT) project management experience and IT knowledge is a plus;
• Good logic / analysis capability;
• Good communication skill;
• A good problem-solver;
• Speaking and writing ability in fluent English.
